Ceito now has a new set of wheels. Not the one above (I'll explain that later) I'll post a picture later. I took one, just haven't downloaded it yet. I've been working a the local hospital on Saturdays for the past few months (about 2 Saturdays per month) to be able to buy him a road bike. I have to admit that I didn't just buy him a road bike, and helmet, and shoes, and pedals.........but, I bought myself a riding partner!! WhhhhoooooHoooooo! Now, I just have to buy a babysitter!

So, it's a Fuji mid-level road bike and very sexy! I accidentally called it pretty when it was on the trainer being changed around to fit him, and that did not go over well! I quickly recovered and called it sexy, and would call it sexy again when I saw him riding it on the trainer at the shop. Yeah baby, you can pedal with me anytime!!! Sorry mom! He took it out on the road on Saturday and he said it was too windy to really get a good feel for it, but he likes it. He grins when he sees it...........I like that! He only fell off it one time, so I'm hoping that it's all over now and he'll be okay from here on out. I kept telling him before he left the house..........."please remember that your feet are part of the bike, they will not hit the ground unless you unclip them!!!!" He un-clipped, then leaned towards the side that was still clipped in..........oops forgot to tell you about that part honey!!! He's okay though, just a little embarrased. Hey, I have falled off in the middle of an intersection before, so I know what that's aaallll about babe!

In the process of purchasing Ceito's bike I got a major case of the I-want's!!! I'ts on full throttle still today boys and girls. Looks like this little lady will be working a lot more to get my tush on the ride that I now want! Cervelo P2C........I'm drooling!! So, the pic above (minus the Zipp wheels) is in the shop right now just calling my name. They have the red and black and the blue model too. I love red! This a dream bike for me and will take a ton more work to be able to pull off this purchase, but ooohhhlala is this over the top or what!! If you've never seen what I'm riding now you may not fully understand the huge jump this would be for me. I've been riding my first bike ever for 2 summers now (Schwinn Fastback) it's a good road bike, not a big name, not a super fast material, just a plain bike, and it's been good to me and will continue to be good to me. The Cervelo is just a flat out dream that may just happen if I put in the time! I'll keep dreamin' about it and that will motivate me to save for it!!! It'll probably not be anytime soon, but I'll keep ya posted!!!
Training continues to go pretty well. I have a bit of a muscle strain in the upper back. It reared it's ugly self in the pool Saturday morning, and has yet to feel much better. But, it'll work it's way out tomorrow. Biked yesterday, felt good. Ran on Saturday, felt really really good! PR'd my 5K training time.....yeah!!!
So that's all for now. Looking forward to getting a bit South this weekend to see the fam. for Easter. Hope all is well elsewhere!

"I have falled off in the middle of an intersection before,"

I won't say anything about the above (grammar).

But I will say that you haven't really been embarrassed if you haven't dropped an 800-lb gorgeous motorcycle in the middle of an intersection. What's worse is that you need help to get it up again! Now that's embarrassing. 'Nuff said about that though!

Congratulations on the bike, can hardly wait to see it. Maybe I'll even get to ride with the two of you. I would suggest bringing them down this weekend, but if weather predictions are correct -- well -- there's another place we don't need to go!

Tell Ceito, the wind will only make him stronger. It's rude when you start out on the ride with the wind in your face thinking, 'oh it will be a great ride back home', only to find that the wind shifts and it's still in your face on the way home. Been there, done that - RUDE! Ride strong!
